One-sentence summary: Ma collection de disques is a fully local collection-management app. Your data stays on your device and, if you enable it, syncs across your devices through your own private iCloud (which the publisher cannot access). The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on the publisher's servers, except for the explicit lookups you make against the Discogs API (artist search, cover art lookup, price estimation, barcode scanning).
The Ma collection de disques app is published by Jean-Pierre Devin, individual (info@jeepeedee.com). It is distributed through Apple's App Store on iOS and macOS.
The app only handles data you enter yourself:
All of this data is stored locally on your device, inside the app sandbox (iOS or macOS). It is never sent to the publisher or any third party, except in the explicit cases described below.
The app lets you export your data as ZIP, JSON, CSV, or PDF files. These files are created at your request and remain entirely under your control: you decide where to save them (Files, iCloud Drive, e-mail, AirDrop). The publisher has no access to these exports.
iCloud sync (optional). If iCloud Drive is enabled on your device, the app automatically syncs your collection across your Apple devices through your own private iCloud (a service provided by Apple). This data stays in your personal iCloud account: the publisher has no access to it and keeps no copy. You can turn this sync off at any time by disabling iCloud Drive; the app then remains fully usable locally, with manual AirDrop sharing. Apple's handling of your data through iCloud is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
The app contacts a single third-party service, only at your explicit request (clicking a search button, scanning a barcode, estimating a price):
The app contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDK.
Apple's App Store may collect its own usage and crash data independently of the app. Refer to Apple's privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
Since all your data stays on your device:
Settings → Danger zone instantly and irreversibly wipes all app data (catalog, customers, profile, covers, logo, Discogs token). Uninstalling the app also removes all data.Data stays on your device until you explicitly delete it and as long as the app is installed. The publisher keeps no copy.
Data is stored inside the app sandbox, isolated from other apps by the Apple operating system. The Discogs token is stored locally in the app preferences (SharedPreferences). No data is transmitted to the publisher; the only network egress is the explicit Discogs requests and, if you enable it, syncing to your private iCloud.
The app is not specifically aimed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data about them.
